Dean Talley is a serial entrepreneur, executive, and the Co-Founder and CEO of The Smart Tarp Company (operating under BrandAll, LLC). Based in the Kansas City area, Dean brings a 39-year track record in media, marketing, and technology, having launched nine successful startups over the course of his career.

In January 2022, Dean, alongside his wife and co-founders, launched The Smart Tarp Company with a singular mission: to eliminate critical operational and marketing vulnerabilities within the roofing industry.

Under Dean’s leadership, the company completely re-engineered job site property protection. By developing a patented, ultra-lightweight (24–34 lb) interlaced vinyl tarp system featuring proprietary Soffit Mat™ technology, The Smart Tarp Company solved the industry-wide problem of turf burn and plant heat stress.

But Dean’s vision extended beyond property protection into high-impact job site marketing. By printing high-definition corporate graphics and dynamic QR codes directly onto massive, street-level "billboard" tarps, the system converts every residential tear-off into an inbound lead-generation engine—outperforming traditional yard signs by 300%.

Driving the Future of Roofing Tech Through Dean's strategic direction, The Smart Tarp Company achieved explosive 406% growth from 2023 to 2024, followed by an additional 48% scale-up through 2025 and 2026. Today, the brand is expanding its footprint beyond physical hardware into an AI-driven digital stack, featuring Storm Sentry AI™ for real-time weather tracking and localized SEO tagging networks designed to route high-intent search traffic directly to the contractors who trust the Smart Tarp system.
